Selection
Fig: Choosing the right board among several candidate options by learning goal
Recommendations by goal: Artix-7 for pure Verilog, Zynq-7020 for Linux, domestic FPGAs on a budget.
There is no single best board, only the one that matches your goal: pick an Artix-7 board for pure Verilog and digital-logic practice; choose a Zynq ARM+FPGA SoC board for embedded Linux; consider a domestic FPGA board on a tighter budget or for supply-chain independence.
